Who we are
Built by people who believe cities deserve better data.
Merlon is a London-based urban planning company. We build tools that help planners, developers, and public sector teams make faster, better-informed decisions about the built environment.
Our mission
Urban intelligence for everyone who shapes the city.
Too much of the built environment still relies on fragmented tools, manual processes, and costly specialist work. Merlon is changing that.
Merlon brings the workflows between design and construction into one intelligent platform, using AI, industry-specific data, and automation to accelerate planning applications, cost and materials estimation, compliance, and contractor discovery. What can take weeks or months can be reduced to days.
We work with architects, planning professionals, developers, and construction teams across the UK, building the infrastructure to make the built environment faster, more efficient, and more accessible.
What drives us
Our values
Efficiency
We believe time should be spent designing and building, not repeating manual processes. We automate the work that slows projects down.
Integration
The built environment is fragmented. We bring planning, costs, materials, compliance, and procurement together in one connected workflow.
Accessibility
Powerful tools should not be reserved for large firms. We make professional-grade technology accessible to teams of every size.
Trust
AI should support better decisions, not create uncertainty. Our outputs are grounded in industry-specific data, verified sources, and transparent methodologies.
